It actually grows on you. Madisyn has really learned alot from watching Barney...I don't like her watching alot of TV but Barney, Blues Clues, and she loves my friends Tigger and Pooh,
But the love of Barney just watch it a few times and it will grow on it.
Hehehehe!!! I told you once she saw that thing you could name, that you were sunk!! I have no advice other than grin and bear it and know someday she will be SO embarrassed!!!

Sorry no helpful hints here. Amelia has to be in the mood for Barney. I think she like watching the little kids on it more than Barney and the other goofy looking characters.
I would say about 5 shots of tequila should help you love the big purple fella. LOL
My kids actually watched only a couple of times, it was about that time Blues Clues came on and they loved it. And talk about a show growing on you, I watched that show so much that I would sing the mail song when I went to get my own mail. LOL
No help here. She will grow out of it alot faster than you think and move on to something you hate alot worse like rap.
Hopefully it won't last too long. Just think in a few yeas she'll hate that big purple dino!!!!!!!!
Hee hee. I actually wish there was anything AT ALL that Gabriella would sit still for 30 seconds to watch, even if it is a purple dinosaur.
I'm so so sorry! This is one of the reasons I'll be adopting older children!!! Maybe it will be short lived??
ahahaha! I said I would never let my kids watch it, but if it keeps them quiet for 5 minutes,I let them watch it =)

Believe me, I feel your pain. Except our foster family sent a CD of Barney en Espanol. All FOURTY TWO SONGS!! Holy cow. Luckily, that's the only thing K. likes-he doesn't go for Barney in English...thank goodness. The Doodle Bops are bad enough!!
