MAYA UPDATE!!!

THIS LITTLE PRINCESS HAS BEEN VERY BUSY. I HAVE A VERY TALENTED LITTLE ONE ON MY HANDS. A COUPLE OF WEEKS AGO SHE PULLED THE FIRE ALARM IN THE MALL. THE LOOK ON HER FACE WAS SO FUNNY. SORRY NO CAMERA!! THEN THAT SAME DAY WE WERE GOING TO CHURCH. SHE WAS ALL HAPPY IN HER CARSEAT. WELL, I GET TO CHURCH TO FIND HER BUTT NAKED. IT WAS SO FUNNY!!!

WE ARE ALMOST TOTALLY POTTY TRAINED!! SHE HAS HER DAYS THAT SHE REFUSES TO USE THE POTTY. SO SHE WEARS WET PANTIES FOR A LITTLE BIT. SHE IS GROWING UP WAY TOO FAST!!

THE GRACE OF GOD!!!

Me and Maya were in a horrible car accident last Saturday. It was by the Grace of God that we were both able to walk away with only minor injuries. Maya only had a small scratch on the right side of her neck. She has been having some nightmares but those are getting better. For the first couple of days after the accident she screamed when I put her in the car. That is better also. Thank God!!!! We were turning left when a small car top the hill going way too fast to stop. They hit us on the passengers side going about 80 mph. It split the entire side of my SUV and flipped us. We landed upside down. Not sure how but I managed to get myself out then I was getting Maya out when someone got there to help. At first Maya wasn't talking at all. Poor little thing was in shock. I am just so thankful that she was not hurt. I have been trying to scan the pictures but the scanner is not cooperating right now. I will try again later. You have to see the pictures to know that we are 2 walking miracles.

I did get a new car Friday. We got a black Dodge Charger. Maya got a new pink car seat. We were both very excited about our new purchases.

SAD NEWS!!!

GABRIELLA HOPE WAS BORN 1/5/2009 AT 2:08 am. SHE WAS JUST TOO TINY TO SURVIVE. SHE DIED AT 3:42 am. SHE WEIGHED 1 LB AND 9OZ AND WAS 11 INCHES LONG. I WILL POST MORE ABOUT THIS AND MY FEELINGS AS I CAN.

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!! I HOPE THIS YEAR BRINGS A LOT OF JOY TO EVERYONE.

I KNOW EVERYONE IS DYING TO HEAR MORE ABOUT MY NEWS. SO, HERE IS A BIT MORE. I WILL BE ADOPTING MAYA'S BIO SISTER. SHE IS DUE 2/18/2009. WE HAVE PULLED A LOT OF STRINGS. I AM JUST PRAYING THAT THINGS GO SMOOTH THIS TIME. I WILL GET TO NAME HER AT BIRTH. SHE WILL BE GABRIELLA HOPE. WE WILL CALL HER GABBY. EVERYTHING IS DONE, WE ARE JUST WAITING ON HER TO BE BORN AND GUATEMALA TO REOPEN. I AM TRYING NOT TO GET EXCITED!!!

CHRISTMAS IN A NUTSHELL!!!

These are some pictures that I had made when we went to visit Ellie in California. Yep, I am just getting them back. I know some people are slow. Anyway the pictures turned out really good. However, I couldn't get them to turn the right way.

Christmas was GREAT this year. Maya was so excited. She was a bit upset Christmas morning when Santa wasn't there. She go over that really quick. She got a tricycle, princess table and chair, princess backpack, doll house, and a crayon doll that teaches colors in english and spanish. From other family members she got a desk, Elmo live (I love him), more dolls with all the accessories. I really don't even remember what she got. It was way too much. We have been very busy all weekend. I am trying to get over the flu. Not easy when you can't rest. I will have to go back to work to get some rest. However, I wouldn't change a minute of it. Maya was so much fun this year. I have tons of pictures from the weekend. I have to sort them and download.

Maya also has some big news. Our family of 2 will very soon be a family of 3. That is all I can say at this point. I am trying not to get excited but that is hard. I have known about this for about a month. I have been dying to tell but I just told my family. I will give more details as I can.

EDITED TO ADD: CONCERNING THE BIG NEWS, I AM NOT GETTING MARRIED, THERE IS ANOTHER BABY IN THE MAKING AND NO I AM NOT PREGNANT.
